Presence of GOLD in MOTHERBOARD
Goldis found in many parts on the motherboard., like connectors, PCI Express, PCI, AGP and other ports, jumper, the CPU socket and memory slots pads. Please note that chemicals used in recovery of gold are very dangerous, especially in the concentrations used. So suggestion, not to try at home. All these connectors are often covered with a thin layer of gold with a thickness of several microns, deposited by plating method.
By using respective you can pluk pins off from motherboards, you must recover all of the pins and connectors. We need a cutting pliers, patented screwdriver and a little grease. If the process is done in Industrial scale by using respective machineries, then raw materials like E-waste will be cost effective to buy and do the recovery process to recover precious metals from it. But it is interesting and fun that can be recovered gold from old motherboards using a procedure done at home
